Paint.NET.3.36.exe is not a valid Win32 application

Sorry, didn't use the search utility but did scan through page by page.

Something must be very wrong with the file. Required to download a dozen times before we hit a clean file? Ouch!

File download fine for me and lots of other people. Sounds like a problem on your end. Could be ISP, Hardware, or even software. I do the basics, check network cables and monitor packet lost to insure your network is working ok. If your losing lots of packets then try another cable. Still losing packets then it may be the NIC. But before any of that do a clean and run a virus program with rootkit scaning. AVG free does not have rootkit scaning so don't rely on it.

Nothing's wrong with the file on the web server.

I saw this on a friend's system once -- he had a faulty network card that was corrupting data as it was being downloaded.
