Rick Brewster Posted April 22, 2020 Share Posted April 22, 2020 If there's an error extracting the MSI, before any installation parameters can be set, then you likely either have a disk problem (failing hardware? corrupted structure?) or a configuration problem (folder security, or maybe Windows Defender's "Controlled Folder Access" was enabled for some reason). Also, are you installing for the first time on a new system? Or are you installing an update? Please give us more details. We really have no context on what's going on.
