Filling different regions each with a unique color

Recommended Posts

Hello everyone, so I am currently making a 2d game and the way the engine works is that each different color tells the game where the region stops and begins. Is there any plug-in or method to efficiently fill-in each region with a different color? I don't mind doing it manually if each time I click to fill in an area it automatically generates a random color, I will make sure there's no duplicates at the end.

I attached some examples below. Thank you in advance for any help

I didn't made a PDN plugin, but a g'mic qt solution. Is this what you're looking for?

You won't see a repeating color here.

EDIT:

Also have an alpha-based solution so you can just paste

I am away from this forum for undetermined amount of time: If you really need anything related to my PDN plugin or my G'MIC filter within G'MIC plugin, then you can contact me via Paint.NET discord, and mention me.

Yes! this is exactly what I am looking to do, can I ask how you did it? I have hundreds of pics that need to be done for the game

Paint.NET doesn't support batch processing. In any case, I'm sending you a code that works with g'mic qt as it support batch processing.
