Creating a 3D wooden pallet in paint.net

I made this pallet using 3D World Studio and want to try and do it using Paint.net so I can get a cleaner more detailed look.

I just want to know if this would be the best way of doing it.

I am going to create each board on a separate layer using Shape 3D. Once I create each board I am going to manipulate the boards into place and then merge all of the layers.

Would this be the best and easiest way to accomplish this project?

You will need to make a clear title for your thread...

Make 1 in shape3d, then on a new layer, make the 2nd, but keep the 1st visible so you can match them good (angles and such).

Repeat, repeat....

On 2nd thought....

Make all 5 on the top first. then make the 5 on the bottom.

Then make the middle 4....

Shape3d 3 times = done.

Testing.....

Yes, it can be done, if you want fast, make em together,

If you want details, make them 1 by 1.

Well I think I should practice more with Shape 3D and the rest of Paint.net before I get ahead of myself. This is the best I could do and it's not worth this post. LOL Shape 3D is very hard to use as a noob so back to the basics for Me. :?
