Dion312 Posted September 2, 2018 Share Posted September 2, 2018 (edited) Hi there I would appreciate any help with images of strings (from string theory in quantum physics,) atoms and molecules. Selected images will go into a collage on the Acts of Peace web site, with credits to artists. Artwork similar to the following is what I am looking for. To enable me to place images closely together in the collage, a transparent or black background will be helpful. I found it worked to use a transparent PNG (made in GIMP) and draw on it. The transparency held in other programs. I am not an artist, so appeal for help from those who are. Thanks in advance. Any help will be fine. Pixey Posted September 2, 2018 Share Posted September 2, 2018 Hello @Dion312 and Welcome to the forum I think you should be able to make what you are looking for with a couple of Plugins. Namely Squirkle Warp and Mandala. 1. Open PDN and change the white background to black. 2. Make a new layer and use the plugins suggested. 3. To save the string images, un-check the black background and Save As to .png to retain a transparent background. Here is How to Install Plugins.
