I'm trying to resize an image to the size of a square, while keeping it in it's correct resolution, but when I resize the canvas, the image doesn't resize with it? Can someone help? If your original image is NOT a square but a rectangle, you have either to crop something (or adding a frame) or the aspect ratio is changing and the image will be squeezed or stretched.
