Photobucket privacy

For anybody that uses Photobucket and wants to use thumbnails without showing their whole library. The privacy feature is now working.

At least it's working for me.

I use Photobucket to upload pictures to post to my thread here on this forum as thumbnails. What exactly is new with the privacy setting you are saying?

It's not new. It just wasn't working before.

Go to the settings page, (in Photobucket) in the privacy tab, under where it says save, click on "Make All Private".

Do this if you don't want the world to see your whole library of pictures when they click on one of your thumbnails.

I tried it and I haven't yet seen a difference when I click on an image thumbnail from this forum. It still shows the rest of my gallery.

I went to your gallery and clicked on an image. I could only see the image that I clicked on. The rest of your library is hidden.

I took a quick look in the Pictorium and Goonfella also has his library hidden like you and I.

I get it. I could probably see the rest of my gallery if I clicked on  a thumbnail from this forum because I was still logged in from Photobucket at the same time.

That's right. If you are logged in to PDN and you click on your own thumbnails you will see your whole library.

But other people, logged in or not, will not be able to see your library.

And don't be afraid of losing your pictures in PDN. You will not have to repost them.
