halostryker Posted June 6, 2008 Share Posted June 6, 2008 hi i have been having problems installing paint.net i had an older version installed before but it would not let me open it i would say a "problem had occurred paint.net needs to shut down" so i tried to uninstall it and it said the same thing. so please can anyone help me thanks. Never delete Paint.NEt. It will not fix it but give you more errors when you go to install a newer version. Try these steps Reboot your computer Run the Paint.NET repair it can be found in your install folder for Paint.NET. It called PdnRepair.exe. Do a repair on your .NET Framework I hope that helps. However if not coiuld you go to the debug part of the error message and take a screen shot for us. Alos give us some info on your system such as OS and Ram.
