Benie
I've been searching for a way to unflatten a flatten, and I can't find any tutorials. It says "You will be unable to undo the flatten operation after saving is finished." Trouble is, I saved it and closed it. And I can't Undo. Simon Brown
Hello Benie, welcome to the forums. Unfortunately, it is impossible.
Myrddin
It says "You will be unable to undo the flatten operation after saving is finished."That is entirely possible, yes. However, to add to sabrown's answer, you can only unflatten a flattened image if you still have the history preserved, that is to say you still have the project open from the time of flattening up to the point of unflattening.Once you have closed Paint.NET, the history is destroyed and nothing can be done. As sabrown said: it is impossible. It is usually considered good practice to save two versions of the project, one as a layered PDN (Paint.NET's native format) file for ease of editing later on, and a second in a single-layer format - PNG, BMP, JPG, etc. - for use with email, the Internet, so forth. EBOBO
Yeah, that happened to me once. >.< It sucked. Like the two before me said, can't un-flatten it unless you have the history preserved with the picture open in PDN.
