Mbc Posted May 27, 2008 Posted May 27, 2008 Hello, I frequently use paint.net for cropping images and often send the cropped images to forums. Sometimes it happens, that the thumbnail preview in the forum then shows the thumbnail of the original image, not of the cropped image, whereas the full size view correctly shows the cropped image. Somehow paint.net must store a thumbnail of the original image in the metadata, which is then used by the forum software, or? What can I do to avoid this? I normally crop the picture by selection the region with rectangle-selection and then "Image->Crop to selection". Thanks, Michael P.S. If desired I can give a link to a thread, where this happened.
