  1. If use entire white background for your book cover then duplicate Background layer and delete initial Background. Go to Image / Canvas Size and set Canvas to pixels/cm or pixels/inch. Select Anchor-Middle. Increase some pixels for Width and Height then click OK. Fill this pixels with color what you need using Paint Bucket - Sorry for my bad english, I used google translate.

  11. When I rotate cover without resize is out of layer. It is posible in Paint.NET to enlarge layer automaticaly to fit the image rotated?
  12. I used resize image and canvas size middle and I increase width and height for 2 pixels. Than I rotated using Move Selected Pixels. I used smooth not pixelated. I use this method to present covers of books. Until now I have used vertical display, but I thought to do this little trick. Unfortunately it did not work. Edges appear jagged. I think it was too low resolution. Thank you all, for your help.
