I love the idea your trying to create, but not really crazy about the sepia and the scratches all over the photo but looking forward to seeing more of your creations.

I find it a pity that this thread is dying.

Your on the right road, although you may want to focus on the blending and making sure the colors don't clash.

While I like the taste in color, I find that the picture itself is merely a background and a glowing fount. I would like to see more effort added in.

I am like the middle picture, but I find the other pieces quiet bland and boring. They are lacking excitement and a bit of color . I suggest you look in photo touch-ups to get some ideas. But overall the are very creative and original.
