  2. @Ego, scientifically it as more readable, you recognise the word better because you learn most of your words in lowercase, another reason why most road signs (In the UK at least) have place names written in lowercase :)

BTW EternalSorrow - Not sure how this works or anything but resizing through the web may help? I scaled down the logo of my site from a stupendously large image and somehow the magic code made it look great!

I have next to no knowledge of coding so i cant really help anymore than that in that field :(

  3. Okay, i have read the allready requested stuff, and maybe this is just to confirm:

Would be great to have (along with the layer grouping / folders) a small toggle to 'minimise' the layer, so you could fit more layers onto your screen without scrolling. Also this probably ties in with layer grouping, colour coding them aswell?

This i think has been mentioned, but just to be sure, an option to drag and drop layers to reorganize them?

  4. I would draw out my path with either the pen tool or line tool, then i would duplicate the layer and render frosted glass till it looks okay, then on the duplicated layer set a gaussian blur. Id then play around with layer blends till the colours work.

As for the starry lense flares, id duplicate all the layers twice and render motion blur in two different directions, then contiunue to play around with layer opacitys and maybe use a cloud render as a layer blend to add a little more.

  5. Uploaded this pic onto advanced critique, but haven't had a response yet, so i thought i might aswell show it up here :)

@PDNnoob - Loving the mixture of circles, im going to try that, some really big circles mixed with small ones works really well, and did you use the xor layer blend to get the circles at the point were the triangles meet? Works really well, definatly a possible wallpaper

  6. @ Railgun Studios

Really shows what paint.net can do when someone with real artistic talent get their hands on it (Im not downgrading anyone else's work by saying that)

The mountains could use abit of work, abit of sharper definition would look great.

The canvas texture you added looks great, this could pass for a real painting.

The clouds on the left seem a little flat though.

Past all that, its an amazing piece, the trees and fog add a real sense of size to the image.

I think more use of noise, different textures and layer blends could make this epic.

A promotional wallpaper made for a music production endeavor undertaken by me and a friend. I was going for a very powerful effect, more focused on a 'Bang! In your face' approach, The text is repeated across all the gallery pics so it doesnt matter if you cant read it well :)

Really like how it turned out :)
