Thanks Simon, that got rid of all the errors. Now all I have to do is take care of the clipboard thing, which i think I can take care of myself. Once again, thanks for your help.
-
Do you mean curly brackets, because I'm pretty sure I don't have any variables assign in parenthesis.
EDIT: Oh, and thanks for explaining about the clipboard thing. I get what you're saying now.
-
I'm getting errors at lines: 38, 114, 120, 121, 122, 123, 148, 149, 150, 368, 419, and 421.
And about the radio button, I see what you're saying and I'm kind of balancing the pros and cons of changing it right now, so I'll see what I'll do about it in a little bit. Oh, and thanks for your help.
EDIT: I'm not sure what you mean about constantly calling the clipboard method. Could you explain? Is there a better way to do it?

I am trying to add a feature to my BlendModes Plus plugin that would allow the user to copy a picture overfrom the clipboard. The only problem is when try to build the plugin I get errors the say "Use of unassigned local variable" and Use of possibly unassigned field". I can't get rid of them and I'm going crazy trying. Help would be greatly appreciated, and the source is attached below. Thanks in advance.

@Neil Cassidy - I don't see why not! I'll try working on it later tonight, but could you do me a favor, and upload an example of what it should look like. Thanks!
@Rail Tracer - Thanks! And if you do make that video, send me the link. That's something I'd like to see.
-
I thought about doing something like that before, but just never got around to it. I see what I can do later today.

If you want the shadows to be away from the edge of your picture, resize your canvas so that there is a space between your picture and the edge of your canvas. And when you're done, just shrink the canvas back down.
-
This is already in the Popular Feature Request thread.
Scrolling past the edge of the canvas when zoomed in -- Right now when you zoom in on the image, you can only scroll to the edge of the image. It can be inconvenient because then you have no space between the image and the scroll bars. Implementing this is dependent on some other "plumbing" work that should be done for the image canvas' rendering, and this will be taken into account when that work is being done. No ETA though. -
Just go to Layers --> Import From File.

Hey you should add a screenshot of the plugin UI by the way.
Done.
Don't worry, I plan to. :wink:And make more plugins! -
No problem.
-
To rearrange the boxes, select them with the rectangle select tool ( ) and move them with the move selected pixels tool ( ).

Thanks guys!
@LJXD - I've been working on that blend mode you asked about, but it might take a bit longer then expected.
EDIT: Sorry LJXD, but I don't think a blend mode like that would work. I've tried a bunch of stuff, plus I've tried the code Simon was talking about, and nothing really works. I think BoltBait was right about this one. Sorry.
EDIT #2: UPDATE: Vivid Light blend mode added.
-
Make sure that you're saving in a format that allows transparency, such a .png.
-
Well, to use the Oblique plugin, after you've made your selection, move the Offset (you have to change this for anything to happen) and Step Factor controls around and watch what happens.
-
Actually, you could select the part you want skewed and then use the Oblique pluign.
-
UPDATE: Divide, Grain Extract, Grain Merge, and Hard Light blend modes added. Sorry I don't have time to put up the descriptions. I'll probably be able to do it tomorrow.
-
I was wondering, is there any way of including a blend mode that could supersede the How to Clone Yourself tutorial. For example, any pixels on the top layer that are the same colour as the bottom layer become transparent, and the rest stay normal.
I could try to whip something up. Just me a day or two and I'll see what I can do.
-
Heh, you got some of the blend modes from gimp didn't you
great plugin
Yes. Yes I did.
No problem.Great, thanks! -
You could use the Alpha Mask plugin, but unless you're really worried about quality, the magic wand is the easiest way to do what you want to do.
-
Thanks guys! I still can't believe how well this plugin has gone over with people so far.
-
You're welcome.

Okay everybody, due to the great amount of satisfactory reviews I've been getting, I've decided to remove the beta label from the plugin. Everyone seems to be happy with it so far, and I haven't got a single complaint yet, so keep on enjoying it!

You could try this tutorial or you could use the Extract Color plugin.
I don't know the "name" of this effect... an how to make it

Um... there's only one image there.
EDIT: Sorry. I read the question wrong.
