"Tomy" on page 1 is an excellent WIP. Great shading. I love his expression.

I absolutely love how you create something so manly, but then there's a little femininity in there, as well. I hope you don't mind me saying that. I think that's really cool. Barbie, you've done a spectacular job on this image. The way you made the center pieces so shiny is excellent.

Awesome wood texture! I really like the marble, but I challenge you to make a see-through one with the designs inside.
-
That is just way cool! Love the colors. My younger sister did a report on liquid crystals when she was a senior in high school. That's what the colors of both images reminded me of.

Woah! Wow! What?! Was what I said when I saw your latest works on this page. I haven't even commented on either of them. I'm amazed at your art because they're all different and nicely done. Great job on the wrench. It looks very real.

It's good to hear from you personally, Oma. Merry Christmas to you, too!

Your three pieces are fabulous. I love the mini-wallpaper one (the one you said you wanted to make a wallpaper size). The car photo is Wow!!! The blue color really stands out nicely.

Such an stunning image! It goes so well together. That would be cool if they sold eye contacts like that.

Paint.NET is just one program yet each person comes up with something different and so amazing. I love your style of work--very cheerful and colorful. I don't have a favorite because I'll feel bad for the other images since they're all so good. The very first image looks like droplets of water are rolling down the surface.

Thanks again, Jaxon.
@ninja...: It's very nice of you to say that.
@barbie: Her work is different and it's great to see that on the forums. It's so interesting what PDN can do to a fractal.
@Welsh: Your eyes are fine, the bottom of the vase IS a bit off. I think Patty is back permanently, btw, just on DA. Thank you.
@dug: Keeping everything simple was a little challenging, but I think I managed not to overdo it. Hydrangeas or carnations, they're both flowers.

I miss oma on these forums. She definitely raised the bar for all of us and taught us all well.
-
@Jaxon: As long as they look like flowers, I'm all set. Thank you for your kind words. Again, the flowers were edited in PDN, but were originally a fractal made in Mandelbulb by Patty. The rest was done in Paint.NET.

Woohoo! Patty asked me to do a collab with her (she was known as sokagirl and BeyondRedemption on PDN forums).

I would also choose a brighter color for the screen on the phone. It looks like it's a little dark, but maybe it's just me.

Sargon, your artwork is so CLEAN! You still amaze me with the quality of your images. Love this piece and the spikes are awesome--the chain links are superb!
-
I just love the way you used different programs with Paint.NET to create such a wonderful piece.
-
Very true. Your work is so surreal. I love the newest additions. You landscape work remind me of Welshblue's. I like your idea of the transparent easel and the way the pin seems to squeeze in the lines.
-
Oh, cool. Your work is clean and nice to look at. Great ideas!

Barbie, I absolutely love this jewel (orb). The designs inside of it make it look like it's popping out and the background makes it even better. You're a genius!
-
Oh, WOW! I can't wrap my head around how much editing you do to images. They're immensely impressive!

First, thank you for your kind words. Second, I'm not sure if there's a tutorial on this type of style in PDN. The reason why this image was named "Simplicity" because that's what it exactly is. I used circles for the trees and the bushes as well as clouds, I freehand drew the grass, and for the hills, I created the shapes using the line tool-- filled the shape with one color, selected it, and then added a gradient (I did the same thing for the taller blades of grass in front). To tell you the truth, a lot of my inspiration comes from vector-style work. So, I'm pretty sure you'll find some quick tutorials from Illustrator on how to do a similar style.

Is that a new sig you have there? I didn't see it before. It's very beautiful. The gradual color change in each letter is superbly done!
-
Looks really, really good. I would've probably made the wrench go the same way as the line of road. That way, the wrench will be more in "perspective." Otherwise, it's excellent--the wrench, the black top, etc.

Your wallpapers are so beautiful! I really wish they were in a digital works museum.
See? I'm not the only one who thinks your work should be in a museum. I love the first one because it looks like an actual ad from a computer or graphic design magazine. The Rose Glass wallpaper is amazing. The designs surely do look like roses.

Oh, wow! That's an amazing wrench. It looks so real like it was nonchalantly placed. Awesome orb with the statue inside, though the top looks a little too blurry. Great work!
