That (the method and the picture) is pure awesomeness.

Go to magic wand. Shift click the white, and press delete on your keyboard.

1. Select a part of the car.
2. Apply a gradient.
3. New layer
3. This is tricky. Set the rounded rectangle tool to "filled shape" and draw it somewhere. Then use Layer>>Rotate/Zoom to position it correctly. Lower the opacity.
Sorry these instructions are not super clear; If you still have problems, PM "Pyjo", as he is really good at this stuff.
Pyjo is so good he made this:

There's usually an option in the Menu. On my camera, you have to got to Manual mode, click the menu button, go to the configuration tab, scroll down and click on "Exposure".

Congratulations, Aguba!

Could you...put a picture...?

This question has already been answered, but for further reference, Paint.NET has a built in grid system. Just go to View>>Grid.

Wow, I'm lovin' this thread already. Thank you Jerkfight! And Pyrochild!

Screenshots?

I will edit my post and tell you soon, as I'm a bit busy now. Don't lose hope...yet.

I could've sworn there is a magnifying glass tutorial here.

We don't need a plugin for this. I'm getting reasonably close to duplicating the effect in ScriptLab. Don't have a lot of time to perfect it right now, 'cause my schoolwork is getting the best of me, but I'll put it up soon. Couple days.
Has anybody told you that you're darn crazy awesome?
Someone just did.

You're getting close, but the rust doesn't seem to merge in with the metal. They seem like two separate entities.

I haven't downloaded it yet, but it seems to be interesting. Testing now...

That may be how they teach it in American school....
I should take this to

Correctly. ;-)
All kidding aside, though, I agree. If a children's area is made, that should be a focus: polish.
No. "Grammatically correctly" doesn't make any sense. It should be "gramatically correct".

Also, some of the tutorials are written in an "unprofessional" manner. I doubt that having a tutorial like this:
"MY FIRST TUT!!!!! Cool background.
Heyz guyz. I just mad3 a new bckgrnd yesterday and i thought it looked kewl. Here it iz!!!!"
Would exactly have a positive influence on children. If a kid's section is ever made, be sure all of them are written grammatically correct.

I have a question, how long do you have to use the forum until people concitter you a human being and not a newbie?
You don't need a high post count, or be here for a long time to no be considered a newbie. Aatwo and TheVoid, i.e., have low post counts but are both highly respected members of the community. Richard, for example, hasn't been here long, but has proven himself as a talented and considerate user. All you need to do is act maturely, intelligently, and respectfully. The example of what not to do is call people "Your Holiness" ( ), t4lk lyk dis (the occasional "lol" is fine) and getting angry over the littlest things.

Madjik: Your entry is awesome!

I was bored, so I made this:

Just set the size to 8.5x11 in Paint.NET, and use PrimoPDF (or similar) to convert it to .pdf. There are some limitations of PrimoPDF, though.

Darn. I wanted cursor pack to win. I like Wikipedia as it is...anything else would make it too cluttered, over-stylized, or too Web 2.0ish (there is such a thing) in my opinion. Ah well, I'll probably enter anyways.

Click F4 on the layer you want to name.
