  1. 1. Select a part of the car.

    2. Apply a gradient.

    3. New layer

    3. This is tricky. Set the rounded rectangle tool to "filled shape" and draw it somewhere. Then use Layer>>Rotate/Zoom to position it correctly. Lower the opacity.

Sorry these instructions are not super clear; If you still have problems, PM "Pyjo", as he is really good at this stuff.

Pyjo is so good he made this:

    viewtopic.php?f=12&t=22117&p=136010#p136010

  2. Also, some of the tutorials are written in an "unprofessional" manner. I doubt that having a tutorial like this:

    "MY FIRST TUT!!!!! Cool background.

Heyz guyz. I just mad3 a new bckgrnd yesterday and i thought it looked kewl. Here it iz!!!!"

Would exactly have a positive influence on children. If a kid's section is ever made, be sure all of them are written grammatically correct.

  3. I have a question, how long do you have to use the forum until people concitter you a human being and not a newbie? :)

You don't need a high post count, or be here for a long time to no be considered a newbie. Aatwo and TheVoid, i.e., have low post counts but are both highly respected members of the community. Richard, for example, hasn't been here long, but has proven himself as a talented and considerate user. All you need to do is act maturely, intelligently, and respectfully. The example of what not to do is call people "Your Holiness" ( ), t4lk lyk dis (the occasional "lol" is fine) and getting angry over the littlest things.
