  1. Right now I'm having an issue where the horizontal seam carving is working just fine, but when I try to use the vertical carving the plugin crashes and throws this error: File: C:\Program Files\paint.net\Effects\SeamCarving.dll Name: SeamCarvingEffect.SeamCarvingEffectPlugin Version: 2.2.5815.34278 Author: Copyright © 2015 BoltBait Copyright: Content aware resize Website: http://boltbait.com/pdn Full error message: PaintDotNet.WorkerThreadException: Worker thread threw an exception ---> System.AccessViolationException: Attempted to read or write protected memory. This is often an indication that other memory is corrupt. at SeamCarvingEffect.SeamCarvingEffectPlugin.OnSetRenderInfo(PropertyBasedEffectConfigToken newToken, RenderArgs dstArgs, RenderArgs srcArgs) at PaintDotNet.Effects.Effect`1.OnSetRenderInfo(EffectConfigToken parameters, RenderArgs dstArgs, RenderArgs srcArgs) in D:\src\pdn\src\Effects\Effect`1.cs:line 70 at PaintDotNet.Effects.BackgroundEffectRenderer.ThreadFunction() in D:\src\pdn\src\PaintDotNet\Effects\BackgroundEffectRenderer.cs:line 227 --- End of inner exception stack trace --- at PaintDotNet.Effects.BackgroundEffectRenderer.DrainExceptions() in D:\src\pdn\src\PaintDotNet\Effects\BackgroundEffectRenderer.cs:line 418 at PaintDotNet.Effects.BackgroundEffectRenderer.Abort() in D:\src\pdn\src\PaintDotNet\Effects\BackgroundEffectRenderer.cs:line 374 at PaintDotNet.Effects.BackgroundEffectRenderer.Start() in D:\src\pdn\src\PaintDotNet\Effects\BackgroundEffectRenderer.cs:line 320 at PaintDotNet.Menus.EffectMenuBase.<>c__DisplayClass42_5.<RunEffectImpl>b__5() in D:\src\pdn\src\PaintDotNet\Menus\EffectMenuBase.cs:line 1032 The log suggests memory corruption as a possible cause, so I ran memtest64 and it didn't pick up any errors. One thing that's interesting is the path: "D:\src\pdn\src\PaintDotNet\Effects\"- PDN is installed to C:\Program Files\Paint.net and I don't have a D:\ drive.
  2. This isn't obvious but the "options" field allows drawing grids, which means it can replace another plugin I use on top of its nominal purpose! And that's just what I plan to do. Thanks!
