( original model from http://www.photo-libre.fr )

What's this?

This is a plugin to move separatly the RGB chanel in % or in pixels. It could be a way to create home made 3D picture but the 3DGlasses aren't provided...

Mixed with/over picture it could give some interesting aspect...

Download it!

Plugin coloraberation.dll

ar.pngHere is the DLLal.png

Created with CodeLab...

The source is available with the plugins package!

http://forums.getpaint.net/index.php?showtopic=7186

How to install

Close Paint.net

Unzip and (re)place the DLL in your Effect folder usually: C:/Program Files/Paint.NET/Effects

The User interface

This plugin is added to the menu Effects, submenu Color.

coloraberation00.png

Offset Red/Green/Blue:

...you set the displacement per chanel. The amount is in % by default but you could choose to use pixels. In this case the amount is x100 : 1.0 = 100 px.

Border behave:

...Choose what to do at the borders:

Clamp : Keep and repeat the last pixel from the borders.

Warp : If the image leaves the area on a side then it reappears on the opposite side.

Bounce : Repeat the image from the border as a mirror.

Original : Leave the original picture.

Primary/secondary color : Fill with the selected color.

Offset unit:

...you could slect purcentage or pixels as unit for the offset controls.

Link chanels:

...All offsets use the Red values so each chanel uses the same amount...

Effect Mix:

...This is a slider to mix the final image with the orignal image to make the effect more or less subtile.

The Examples:

Model / Result :

coloraber11.jpgcoloraber12.jpg

Settings : coloraberation10.png

Model / Result :

coloraber21.jpgcoloraber22.jpg

Settings : coloraberation20.png

This is a way to confirm that the yellow color is made of red and green...

Um, what do you say to "Invalid App Id: Must be a number or numeric string representing the application id.

FB.getLoginStatus() called before calling FB.init(). all.js:56
event.returnValue is deprecated. Please use the standard event.preventDefault() instead.", Madjik?

That's a forum error that shows up in the console every time a page is loaded.  Someone just didn't configure the FB Like button on the forum correctly.

Spair, it doesn't have any real relevance to this plugin.  If you want to talk about it more, make a thread in The Overflow.

ok, this is getting out of hand. This is related to the plugin. Windows 7 appearantly has a problem with the code used-I found this...thing with the "inspect element" tool. Windows 7 is concerned about the security &/or validity of the link.

Download it form this forum and you'll be fine.  Get it from anywhere else and you run the risk of installing...anything.

Incorrect.  You're looking at the Console of the inspect element developer tools, right?  Those messages are not specific to that element, they're global messages logged to the console by the JavaScript file "all.js".  I deal with this daily for my real world job, I can confirm that the message you posted has absolutely zero to do with the plugin in question.  "App ID" refers to the Facebook app ID, required for every FB share button.  FB.getLoginStatus() is a function in the Facebook button code.  So is FB.init().  event.returnValue is an error in a lot of JavaScript libraries, including jQuery and some others.

To prove that it has nothing to do with this or any plugin, open any other thread on the forum (especially one without a download) and inspect any element there.  You'll see the same thing.  Better yet, don't click anything; just press F12.  The console will open and you will see the same error.  :-)

Windows is concerned about its security simply because it's a DLL file.  No other reason.
