Pushapjit Posted March 19, 2008 Posted March 19, 2008 we are learning features of Paint.NET. We want to know whether masking of layers is possible in Painty.NET. IN Photoshop we can use the making Layer feature to cut the overlapping area of unwanting layer. Quote
BoltBait Posted March 19, 2008 Posted March 19, 2008 No, that is not available in Paint.NET yet. However, it is on the roadmap for a future version (4.0+). While you wait for 4.0, you can use the Alpha Mask Import plugin: viewtopic.php?f=16&t=23203 where you can load an alpha mask from a file. I know it is not as convient as a layer, but its a start!
