kaib
Every time I start Paint.NET, the tools window is maximized. I mean MAXimized, I can't even see the windows taskbar any more. I can restore the window to a smaller size, but then its orientation is horizontal rather than vertical - all the icons in one row, the tolerance and fg/bg selections below. I don't think this is the way it's meant to be, because once it miraculously started with a vertical toolbar with two icons per row. I have screenshots of this but can't upload them right now. The same maximizing behaviour applies to other sub windows, too. For instance, the window that comes up when checking for updates. Ah, and resetting window positions doesn't change toolbar orientation. Why isn't the tool window resizable anyway?
Rick Brewster
We've seen this caused by having a "monitor manager" software installed, such as Powerstrip or ATI Hydravision.
