Printing more than one picture per page

Recommended Posts

I've a horrible feeling this is going to be a dumb question but here goes anyway :?

The print wizard provides several useful "layouts" and I want to use the multiple-up versions so that I can print 2 or 4 pictures per A4 page. I can't seem to find out how to print different photos in each "pane". For example I've selected 4 pictures and they are in my "workplace" but whenever I print only the "active" photo is selected for printing. I can print multiple copies of the same picture in the selected layout but can't seem to figure out how to print all 4 pictures on the same physical page.

What have I missed ?

Just use the photo printing wizard through My Pictures.

Not at all! Paint.NET uses the default print dialog for Windows, and it (frankly) sucks. ;-)

The Doctor: There was a goblin, or a trickster, or a warrior... A nameless, terrible thing, soaked in the blood of a billion galaxies. The most feared being in all the cosmos. And nothing could stop it, or hold it, or reason with it. One day it would just drop out of the sky and tear down your world.
Amy: But how did it end up in there?
The Doctor: You know fairy tales. A good wizard tricked it.
River Song: I hate good wizards in fairy tales; they always turn out to be him.
