pn999
I noticed that a paint.net file doesnt get all the right click options, like set as desktop background.... how do I add this file type to that option???
Wither
Backgrounds have to be .jpg files. A .pdn can't be used for anything besides saving layer information for Paint.NET. Does that answer your question? Quote YouTube | Myspace | deviantART
pn999
can I just manually change the file ending.?? will that work??
pyrochild
No. You have to open the .PDN file in Paint.NET and save it as a JPG or other common format. usedHONDA
Backgrounds have to be .jpg files Or GIF, BMP, or PNG files, though PNG doesn't look good when resized or stretched by Windows via Desktop Properties. In my defense, I'm still thinking of Vista. (I seem to have forgotten many of the ways of XP) Strangely enough, Vista only allows .bmp and .jpg to be set as backgrounds. >_> Quote YouTube | Myspace | deviantART

Wither
I'll officially retract my earlier statement. I was going through the Personalization menu. I didn't even think about right-clicking the file itself ... *cough* Quote YouTube | Myspace | deviantART

HITMAN-X-
I guess it is because it was coded for Paint.NET only and to be view with windows picture and fax viewer. Think of it as a project file only for raw data (Code) that needs to be compiled into a image file in order to work as a image. Like a program done in C# that are only data files till compiled into a running program. In my defense, I'm still thinking of Vista. (I seem to have forgotten many of the ways of XP)Strangely enough, Vista only allows .bmp and .jpg to be set as backgrounds. >_> Don't worry about it my friend as Vista wont be here for much longer. it was just another ME that MS need to sell. Windows 7 (Codename: Vienna) will be replacing Vista sometime around 2009 & 2010. They were planing it before Vista even came out.
