faith123
Hi! I'm am VERY new to Paint.net, so please forgive my ignorance! Can someone please tell me how to do that cool technique where you have a black/white photo and you add color to specific areas of it? Thanks so much! david.atwell
Yup! It's kind of obscure -- it's called the Pleasantville Effect. In the future, you'll want to try http://searchpaint.net - although, this time, I don't think you'd have known what to look for. Enjoy, and welcome to the forum! And nothing could stop it, or hold it, or reason with it. One day it would just drop out of the sky and tear down your world.Amy: But how did it end up in there? The Doctor: You know fairy tales. A good wizard tricked it.River Song: I hate good wizards in fairy tales; they always turn out to be him.
faith123
Thanks for the info ... I would never have known to look for the "Pleasantville Effect!" I'm having trouble selecting only what I want using the Magic Wand tool (per the tutorial's steps), but I'll do a forum search for that. Thanks again! david.atwell
Try playing with the Tolerance, and look for "Cutting out images the Easy way!" for an easier way to select things.
