Alpha To Selection Suggestion

Recommended Posts

Sorry that the topic name is a mouth full, but I have a request to make.

I noticed in the GIMP image program there is a feature called "Alpha To Selection" and it will select every single pixel in a lay. Would it be possible to add this effect to Paint.net

It would be easier that having to use the magic wand and click certain pixels and having to constantly adjust the tolerance.

Example:

alpha_select.png

The white in the pic is from the bottom layer and all of the colors are on the second layer and I was able to all the pixels selected from that layer.

Couldn't you just Shift-Click in a transparent area of the top layer and then press Ctrl-I to invert the selection?

Oh yeaaaaaaah. :P

Now you made me feel like an idiot, BoltBait. :(
