warmac1ne
While I was working on one of my projects in Paint.NET I had to rotate my selection and part of it went off the edge of the canvas (I wasn't moving the picture, I was moving the selection) and the dotted lines are still there after they have gone off the canvas. Not really doing harm but just thought you might wanna know Ins1ghT^ Warmac1ne^ Assass1N Quote Ins1ghT - The Future In Gaming All Images In My Profile Made With Paint.NET
BuzzKill
This is not a bug. The marquee (dotted lines) is there to show you the boundry of the slection, on canvas or off canvas. Crazy Man Dan
BuzzKill is spot on. The changes you're making to the selected pixels are not final until the selection is dropped (deselected). In the same way, the selection is preserved until the operations are complete. For example , if you rotate the selection so the edges go off-canvas, you can still resize it to bring those corners back on canvas, preserving what was there.
