There were 2 things I found I had to fix before pushing the update to everyone, and you probably had the '/test' command-line switch added to your Paint.NET shortcut. Sometimes this happens because pushing out an update takes quite a bit of time and includes a lot of validation to ensure that everything is perfect. Otherwise you might be getting a stale or not-yet-ready release, and who knows what problems you'll have with one of those.
