StuckSophie
Hi, Can anyone explain to me how to put a simple border (one colour) around a picture? For example, a blue border around this? Thanks for your help
david.atwell
Just increase your canvas size by two times however many pixels you want your border to be, making sure that it's set to center...use the bucket fill to fill the outline in, and you're good! Does that help? Quote The Doctor: There was a goblin, or a trickster, or a warrior... A nameless, terrible thing, soaked in the blood of a billion galaxies. The most feared being in all the cosmos. And nothing could stop it, or hold it, or reason with it. One day it would just drop out of the sky and tear down your world.Amy: But how did it end up in there? The Doctor: You know fairy tales. A good wizard tricked it.River Song: I hate good wizards in fairy tales; they always turn out to be him.

barkbark00
Do you want the border to add to the size of the image(e.g., 80x80px + 5px border = 85x85px). If so you can just set your background color to your desired border color, and then increase the canvas size to add your border. To change the canvas size you want to go to Image > Canvas Size... There are also 2 plugins that add a border to your image... http://paintdotnet.12.forumer.com/viewtopic.php?t=4799 http://paintdotnet.12.forumer.com/viewtopic.php?t=4828 Quote Take responsibility for your own intelligence. -Rick Brewster
