Rick Brewster Posted November 28, 2005 Author Share Posted November 28, 2005 On my system I have many "Arial" fonts, such as: Arial (TrueType) Arial Black (TrueType) Arial Bold (TrueType) ... etc ... In total there are 12. Each one is optimized for a certain type style (bold, italic, etc) You'll need to make sure you have the first one in that list with exactly that name: "Arial (TrueType)". If you do have this font, then it is has most likely become corrupt. I've seen this before where Paint.NET would not start up and complain about the Arial font, but then replacing the Arial font would fix everything.
