Fade to white, Newbee needs help

Recommended Posts

Ok, this is my first attempt at working in this sort of art program so I am unfamiliar with how it works and the terminology so please bear with me.

I am using a color laser printer so I can't go full bleed or borderless for a production piece I am trying to do.

The option that I think would be best is to fade to white on the borders but I can't figure out how to make the gradiants plugin translucent or how I might use layers to help me accomplish this task.

Please help and thanks in advance.

Normally I print things on an inkjet and just go borderless.

For production purposes I am using a high end color laser but am finding out that the paper feeder on a laser if different and you can not do borderless prints.

So instead of having a hard edge for my borders I was hoping to be able to feather them out by using a gradiant tool.

Unfortunetly, I haven't managed to figure out how to use the gradiant tool or know if it is even possible to have the image and the gradiant tool work together.
