Betty Boop
I have an image that has a lot of detail and shading. Is there a way to change the color and keep the shading without going pixel by pixel?
Crazy Man Dan
Hue / Saturation will change all the colors of the image. Conditional Hue / Saturation (not bundled with PDN, click the link to download) will adjust only the selected range of colors. usedHONDA
There's also the normal hue/saturation adjustment and the recolor tool (though I don't even use that). Betty Boop
I've been playing with the conditional hue/saturation, but I don't understand how to use it. I want to turn all of the purple colors to teal. How do I do that?
Crazy Man Dan
That image should help. You have to select the range of purple within the pie-slice selector on the right. Then, you use the slider in the top-left to adjust the hue. Using the "Add" hue adjustment method (default option), -115 or thereabouts should turn your purple to teal.
