Rick Brewster
Well, I find it's easy enough to press Ctrl+A and then M to select everything and then switch to the Move Selected Pixels tool. We had Paint.NET work the way you describe before v1.0 was released, but we found that most people (aka "normal people" ) were totally baffled by having it work that way. So we removed that functionality. Rick Brewster
Sorry, we don't have an Options dialog, nor will we ever. Honestly, having to press Ctrl+A, M is the best alternative from several possible implementation choices when considered in the context of Paint.NET. If you're adventurous you can grab the source code and make it do whatever you want though, of course.
