daveym Posted July 11, 2013 Posted July 11, 2013 Hello. I'm trying to make a logo but I can't get rid of artifacts that appear when I set anti-aliasing on, and these artifacts are even more noticable if I add a background colour. There are artifacts inside the 'M' and outside, and it really makes my logo look terrible What can I do to fix this? Thank you I forgot to add the image, here it is. Quote
pdnnoob Posted July 11, 2013 Posted July 11, 2013 From the looks of it, it seems you made your logo on the same layer as the default white background, then used the paint bucket to fill the background with black. If you're sure you want a black background, just increase the tolerance on the paint bucket tool until the white disappears when you use your bucket. In the future, I recommend creating your logo on its own layer so the anti-alias doesn't get all mixed with the white.
