Jaych1001
Hi, I'm new to Paint.NET and have been trying to get to grips with it. I've downloaded a package of plug-ins which give me lots of different effects. I'm wondering, is there a good way to create letterpress text in PDN? I've searched the forum and haven't found much. I'm looking for something like this: My background is grainy grey. Thanks. Edited May 5, 2012 by Jaych1001
goatie
Looks more like embossed to me! Letterpress (raised) type is used to emboss leather, card etc, which I'm guessing is what you mean? Sorry - could bore you silly with the types of printing...
pdnnoob
I wrote a tutorial with a similar effect...just skip the part about shape3D Quote No, Paint.NET is not spyware...but, installing it is an IQ test. ~BoltBait Blend modes are like the filling in your sandwich. There was a tutorial for it but it was for Photoshop. I thought I added the link to it? Here it is anyway: http://www.1stwebdesigner.com/tutorials/letterpress-embosed-text-tutorial/ I wrote a tutorial with a similar effect...just skip the part about shape3D Thanks! That's what I'm looking for. I'll give that a try when I've a bit of time and I'll report back here with the result.
