Request to animate image.

Recommended Posts

Hello forum members, can you please help me (please)

I have this image I would love to have animated.

KBKll.jpg

Just have it going from right to left like moving stars, I have read this board over and over, but my skillz are shocking.

Can anyone please please see if its possible.

Thanks in advance.

Yes, it is possible. You need to download and install Simon Brown's animated png filetype plugin here

1. Create a new image and open the original image separately

2. Copy and paste the original image to the blank image so that the left side of the original is aligned with the left side of the canvas.

3. Add a new layer

4. Paste the image again shifted left a few pixels.

5. Repeat 3 and 4 until you reach the end of the image

Once you are done, save the image as a .apng file and close it. Rename the image file to insertfilename.png and it should now be an animated image

I'm not sure what's going wrong. You should post the issue (and all the details about what is happening) on the plugin thread.
