DmitryKo
I want to convert a PR picture from Opel Media http://mediaassets.g...hp?catid=178360 The preview images show a bright red Astra OPC, however when I open the original high-resolution uncompressed JPEG in Paint.NET 3.5.10 there is a substantial color tint, and the car shows as dark orange instead of bright red. The tint is also showing if I open the file in Windows Paint, Google Chrome 15, or QuickTime Picture Viewer 7.6.9. The same high-resolution file shows correctly as bright red in Windows Photo Gallery, Internet Explorer 9 and Mozilla Firefox 7. I have resized the original image with Paint.NET and saved as a compressed JPEG, and all of the above applies to this lower-resolution copy as well. http://commons.wikim...PC_PR_photo.jpg The original photo has been captured on Canon EOS-1Ds digital camera and processed by Adobe Photoshop Elements 8.0. Rick Brewster
The image most likely has an embedded color profile, which Paint.NET doesn't support. So it's not technically a bug, but a missing feature.
