phatmankerr
Just a small annoyance, but every time I pass over the Acquire menu item there is a noticible delay (I assume while P.net searches for a relevant source). As I don't have a scanner or digital camera is there any chance of an option to disable this menu item. Also just another little gripe, the new MDI interface is absolutely brilliant - it's one of the best implementations in a Paint program I've seen, but the icons (e.g. for the dropdown list and to close) are a bit rubbish - are these going to be replaced in the final version ? Rick Brewster
The delay is there because it is calling an external program to determine if a scanner or acquisition device is available. Both the starting of this process and the detection take a moment of time. I don't see how the icons are "rubbish." They look just fine and aren't going to be replaced. P.S. People absolutely love it when you say their stuff is rubbish... like the icons I've designed. Actually they don't, that was sarcasm. Please give more constructive criticism in the future.
