Priest1955
I'm new to Paint.Net and I can't seem to find a solution to a simple task. I need to fill an area on a photo with 'hashing', to highlight this area to whoever is viewing the photo. I know I can select a brush fill style and the paint bucket, but what I need to do first is to creat a shape to fill. To do this I need to be able to join lines together. If anyone can suggest a better way of getting the hashing effect, I would be greatful.
Leif
Try turning of and on alpha blending and antialising. Maybe your answer leis in finding the right combination. You will need alpha blending on, if you want to join lines. crosswalker
it might be a bit quicker to just select the area with the lasso, circle, or rectangular select tools. If you need to add to the selection, just hold down ctrl while drawing it. Then you could fill it with the paint bucket.
