Thanks Leif, I'll give that a try.

I'm new to Paint.Net and I can't seem to find a solution to a simple task. I need to fill an area on a photo with 'hashing', to highlight this area to whoever is viewing the photo. I know I can select a brush fill style and the paint bucket, but what I need to do first is to creat a shape to fill. To do this I need to be able to join lines together. If anyone can suggest a better way of getting the hashing effect, I would be greatful.
