lpbh25
I am almost tearing my hair out trying to create a siggie-style collage of images. What I basically want to do is cut out several photo images and blend them together in a collage, so that they all look seamless together. I have tried to cut them out, feathered the edges, but the transparency of the edges shows up in front of the background colour. I have tried using the gradient tool technique - still no joy. Can someone out there please give me some help with this before I throw a complete wobbly? Thanks.

Sarkut
If you copy/paste something feathered directly onto the background, the transparency will be pasted also. The trick is to paste into a new layer above the background. That way the transparency of the feathered edge doesn't affect the background pixels.
