kaddyshack Posted August 22, 2010 Share Posted August 22, 2010 Hello! I am a new user named kaddyshack. Although I have been using paint.net for a while now, I joined the forum today. Most of my works contain renders from video games. The video games are not created by me but the rendering and creation of the character was. The video game's personal forum's allow for images to be used, and so do the forums that are related to the game. So my question is: is it copyright infringement to post the images I made to this forum because they started out as images in video games, or is it under fair use to post them because they are rendered by myself and are not being used commercially? You aren't selling anything, and the copyright owners have better things to do than drag millions of forum users to court.. Will Sony sue for this? I don't think so.
