vsb318
Hi, This is my first time to post on the forums and I am a new user to Paint.net. My question is: is there a way to program a crop selection size by pixels? If I want to crop a section that is 662 pixels wide by 335 pixels high, is there a way to do that by numbers, rather than by using a mouse and a magnifying glass to see the lines on the ruler? I hope I'm making sense. Thanks for any help. Vicky
csm725
Yes, go to the rectangular select tool and choose Fixed Size on the toolbar :FixedSize:. Set the units to pixels and type in your size. Drag around the canvas and when you have selected the desirable area, hit Ctrl-Shift-X - crop to selection. Save and enjoy.
