Rick Brewster Posted September 9, 2005 Posted September 9, 2005 You need to install the .NET Framework: http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=17153 Our next update will have code built-in to the installer that detects whether .NET is installed or not, and then gives a link to that webpage if necessary. Rick Brewster Posted September 10, 2005 Author Posted September 10, 2005 The framework doesn't ship as part of Windows XP (it came out a few months after). .NET doesn't require Windows Installer 3.0 though; I think it requires 2.0, which ships with Windows, and if you have SP2 installed then that is supposed to contain 3.0 already. However, if you're unable to download Windows Installer 3.0 ( http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/info ... yLang%3den ), it means that your copy of Windows is not recognized as being genuine. You'll have to talk to whoever you got "Pro Corp Lite" from to figure out how to get the missing parts of your Windows installation set up.
