lparker
With the current plugin system is it possible to write a plugin for a new image type that allows for links to other files / images... For instance a map where you can click on a region and have it bring up a new map of just that region??? I want to use this for creating an RPG world where I can add more details to some parts of the world... My thought is to keep the image and region/link data as a single filetype and allow for referencing other image/data files... If the file does not exist, ask if it should be created and if so, start with a new blank image. It would also be great if I could popup a "ToolTip" or change the pointer when over a clickable region.
Rick Brewster
Nope. You're confusing what's possible or appropriate to store in an image, with what should be handled by your game's content management system. Images do not "contain links." In my case there is no "game's content management system.", the plugin was going to be it... Thanks for the answer, I guess I'll start from scratch. Great product by the way!
