trickman
When I Acquire from clipboard a transparent PNG, the transparency turns black, and so I have to copy the image location then open in order for it to work... will this be solved in next version? Illnab1024
I believe the clipboard cannot hold alpha info. Although I am not sure. Quote ~~
Crazy Man Dan
Yeah, I've seen this as well. It's not a PDN thing, it's a Clipboard thing. Just to test again, I copied my there to the clipboard and pasted it into PDN, The GIMP, Artweaver, and Microsoft Paint, all with the same result: The transparent area around the shadow turned black. I also tried it with Opera and IE (yes, I actually let IE on the web!), but switching browsers made little difference. They all did it differently, but none of the results turned out the same as the source image. I'm not sure what you're using to place it on the Clipboard, but since the Clipboard doesn't like alpha, I'm guessing it's not a problem with that program either. The way I usually work around this is by saving the image to my machine and opening it from there.
