Dan Stockwell
Is it possible to have paint.net remember the last resize option and percentage? example being if I have a few photos off my phone and want to resize to say 50% I use keyboard shortcut and go through them but have to choose the percentage and scale option for every image is it possible to remember the last operation and pre select that scale, or some other default setting maybe? thanks - been long time casual user and twitter follower. Got the store version 18 months ago so keep up the good work! Dan Stockwell Edited March 24 by Dan Stockwell spelling/ typos
Rick Brewster
It does remember the last resampling mode. The other settings are not remembered. Highly recommend getting acquainted with the keyboard shortcuts! Alt+B will jump you to resize by %, for instance. So resizing by 50% is always the sequence: Ctrl + R (Image -> Resize) Alt+B 50 Enter You can also automate this with something like AutoHotKey 1 Quote The Paint.NET Blog: https://blog.getpaint.net/ Donations are always appreciated! https://www.getpaint.net/donate.html

Since quite a lot of people nowadays appear to be unaware that they can use Alt + letter keyboard shortcuts for navigating Windows application menus and controls in dialogs, here's a reminder... When Alt is pressed, the shortcut letter associated with the menu or control is underlined. For example Alt + L H is the shortcut for Layers -> Flip Horizontal And on the Resize dialog, as @Rick Brewster says, the shortcut Alt + B will jump to By percentage (and then back to By absolute size if it is pressed again).
