Crash upon Save or Save As

Hi, I've spent time searching here and asking AI for solutions but had no luck so I hope you can help.

 

I've deleted and re-installed and I'm on the latest version - 5.0.12.  Everything works as it should but upon clicking Save or Save As, after about 5 seconds, the App will crash.

 

There's no crash log file.  I have also deleted C:\Users\<Username>\AppData\Local\paint.net.  Still no luck.

Does your system also crash if you go into Notepad and use Save As?

 

How about Microsoft Paint?

Ah ha!  I was going to say no, but yes!  This is now resolved.  Thank you, BoltBait.

 

If I navigated the same path with Paint, yes, it crashes.  I renamed the folder to remove the historic folder path and that's sorted it.
