Kostyurik
In the folder C:\Windows\Fonts I had ALL but seven fonts hidden, but when I'm working in Paint.net there are 18 other fonts. How can I hide them?
Kostyurik
I tried to delete at least chinese and japanese fonts from registry using FontExpert program, but it still haven't helped me get rid of those fonts in Paint.net - they are still displaying, but now with warning sign. Also, you are using a long out of date version of paint.net (v4.3.12). No more help can be given here unless you update to the latest version (v5.0.11). See #7 in the Forum Rules: If you are on Windows 7, you will need to update to Windows 10 or 11 first. UPDATE: Font hiding does work as expected with paint.net v5.0.11 and Windows 11. Kostyurik
Deleting system fonts seems impossible, Windows is preventing it. In order to update to Paint.net v5.0.11, I need not just any Windows 10, but Windows 10 update 1809. I'm currently on Windows 10 LTSB update 1607, and updating any Windows from LTSB branch is basically a complete re-installing Windows system. Seems a bit too much just for newer version of Paint.net But still - thanks so much for clarification, at least now I know that I need to just stop trying to find a way to hide fonts from "outdated" version of Paint.Net

So this 👆 seems to be the problem you'll need to solve if you need to continue with Windows 10 LTSB update 1607.

I don't see how that could possibly be true. You literally just go to Windows Update and tell it to get updates. In any case, you need the latest version of Paint.NET before we can be of any assistance with anything related to Paint.NET. If that means you have to update your OS, then that's what is needed. Windows 10 v1607 is 7 years old, and v1809 is 5 years old, that's a LOT of time that you've had for doing this sort of thing. LTSB is available free as part of a 90-day Enterprise Evaluation Program. It's a trial version and can be activated at the end of the trial period for use on non-general purpose PCs. LTSB does not include most of the Windows core apps and doesn't get the normal non-LTSB Windows updates. @Kostyurik is going to have to install a 'proper' version of Windows. Rick Brewster
Either way, v1809 has been available for 5 years. There's really no good reason to not update your OS within that timeframe, particularly on a personal computer. 2 Quote The Paint.NET Blog: https://blog.getpaint.net/ Donations are always appreciated! https://www.getpaint.net/donate.html
