Save format - once more

Hi,

 

I've read the other discussions on this topic, but I find argumentation weak and aatitude... a bit ignorant. Options with features like saving default file format would be great improvement of this program. There are other lossless formats, apart from png, as tiff or bmp. People use software for different projects and having to change one attribute dozens of times might be a nightmare. At least remembering the last choice would be appreciated.
