TheBinaryBuster
after the 5.0 update, other than the brush sizes changing the pen pressure doesn't turn off when I toggle it off, it stays on and there isn't anything I can do I guess? I've checked my pc and it doesn't have any pressure settings, nor does my tablet, unless I have to press more than one thing to turn it off (which, imo, is kinda dumb) it's broken
Solution Rick Brewster Posted January 12 Solution Share Posted January 12 How are you turning off pen pressure? If you don't want pressure sensitivity, Settings -> Pen & Tablet -> uncheck "Windows Ink" I plan on adding a setting to control both the pressure sensitivity and the high-frequency input sampling, it's nice to be able to control them separately. TheBinaryBuster
I was turning it off the way it said in the 5.0 patchnotes, the button at the top right. Might've been mis-interpreting that but windows ink fixed it, thanks!
Rick Brewster
The setting in the toolbar is for path smoothing. That's not pressure sensitivity. Rick Brewster
I just released 5.0.1 and it has a button in the toolbar for toggling pressure sensitivity. You can leave "Windows Ink" enabled and still get the benefit of high-frequency sampling for the device: Quote The Paint.NET Blog: https://blog.getpaint.net/ Donations are always appreciated! https://www.getpaint.net/donate.html
