jgk381 Posted December 9, 2022 Posted December 9, 2022 (edited) I have a project with each layer set to various Blend Modes (ie some are Overlay, some are Glow etc) , but when I export the layer images to individual PNG files, they all get saved as if the Blend Mode is set to Normal. So now if I import the PNG files into a new project and try to re-compile everything, none of the layers are blended the way I had them set before. I'm trying to put the image layers into an external NFT generator software and have everything blend the same way it looks in Paint.NET, so is there a way to preserve the blend mode characteristics of each images when exporting to PNG, so that they all blend properly when I put them into the generator software? Thanks Edited December 9, 2022 by jgk381 Quote
Solution Rick Brewster Posted December 9, 2022 Solution Posted December 9, 2022 PNGs don't have the ability to encode this type of information. This isn't a Paint.NET limitation, it just isn't part of the PNG format. Quote The Paint.NET Blog: https://blog.getpaint.net/ Donations are always appreciated! https://www.getpaint.net/donate.html
